hi, I'm stephanie
I was always a very ambitious, multi-passionate woman and hated the idea of being put into a box and being defined by one thing. I wanted to believe I could do it all but just didn't know how to incorporate all of my passions into my lifestyle.
i felt very lost and alone
I was just about 4 months away from graduating pharmacy school and had no idea what was next for me. I had 10 weeks off before my next rotation when I decided to create a vision board for what I wanted my life to look like one day. Up until this point, my life had revolved around school and I had never thought about how I wanted to feel everyday, just had a vague idea of what I wanted my life to look like.
After multiple failures and setbacks, I experienced major burnout and felt lost in my life. I felt embarrassed, ashamed, and not good enough. I didn't know who I was or what I was good at. All I knew was that I loved yoga, teaching, writing, personal development, and hoped to inspire others to become passionate about their health, wellness, and achieving all of their dreams.
when I experienced failure, i went through a period of burnout and depression.
This passion project has been a labour of love for a very long time and I'm excited to finally share it with the world. My mission is to help you feel less alone, more confident, and remind you that you are always thoughtfully becoming. Thanks for being a part of it!
which lead me to create thoughtfully becoming
After graduation, yoga had become a part of my daily routine which lead me to achieving a long-time goal of getting yoga teacher certified. This was one of the best investments I made in myself and has allowed me to share this form of selfcare with others. I also started writing articles for a media company called Thought Catalog and knew I wanted to continue to share my writing with the world, connect with people, and inspire others in any way that I could.
In 2021, I got yoga teacher certified and started a daily writing practice.
With love,

"One day, the mountain that is in front of you will be so far behind you, it will be barely visible in the distance. But the person you become in learning to get over it? That will stay with you forever - and that is the point of the mountain."
