Hi and welcome to Thoughtfully Becoming, my name is Stephanie and I’m so glad you’re here! This space is my personal journal where I will be sharing my thoughts, journey, wellness routines, favourite things, and everything that inspires me so thank you for reading!
If we’ve never met before, I thought I’d take this time to introduce myself and share a little bit more about me:
- I am 30 years old and live in Northern Ontario, Canada
- I’m 4’11 which is half of what inspired four eleven yoga!
- I’m an avid reader and my favourite genre is romance and contemporary fiction
- I went to pharmacy school and graduated with my Doctorate of Pharmacy
- I’m a huge swiftie and can’t wait to see the Eras Tour this fall!
- My favourite season is summer and I prefer warmer weather
- I love to travel and England and Scotland are currently at the top of my list one day
- I prefer tea over coffee
- I’m a cancer sun, pisces moon, and pisces rising
- My guilty pleasure is ice cream and my go-to flavour is cookie dough
So why did I decide to create Thoughtfully Becoming? Do people even read blogs anymore? Creating my own personal website is something I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time but never had the courage to just start. As someone who chronically overthinks every single aspect of my life, I put this endeavour off for many years worried of what people would think, afraid of being vulnerable, and wondering if people would even read my writing. But after going through many years of self doubt, I’ve learned that it’s never too late to try new things and that everyone will have an opinion about your life no matter how much you share about it. I also felt like my real day-to-day life didn’t look very glamorous and just didn’t feel worth sharing. But I’ve always been inspired by other people’s stories and vulnerability and hope that my words will do the same. So after many years of putting this endeavour off, I finally decided to do it and thus Thoughtfully Becoming was born. It’s taken me a long time to finally hit publish on this labour of love but I’m finally ready to share it with the world. Even if I’m writing into the void and no one will read this, I felt like I owed it to myself to do this simply because I genuinely enjoy it. And at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.
At the risk of being just another person oversharing their thoughts on the internet, I hope this space will allow you to get to know me on a more personal level, inspire you in many different ways, and remind you that you are always evolving and constantly becoming the person you were meant to be.
Thanks for being a part of it!
With love,
